haha only jokin

i know such a place as hell doesnt exist

now my assignment to you muslims is for you to think to yourself whether an eternal afterlife makes any sense

to give you a hint…. it doesn’t

regards,

ex-muslim called musa

I agree with you – I just don’t see any evidence supporting any of their claims.

@Ruchjat, you say that with such relish, such glee. Really enjoying that, are you…your mental picture of someone else’s torment?

You realize that it doesn’t bother atheists because atheists don’t believe that any of that will take place, right?

But you believe it…and you really seem to enjoy the idea of people suffering that way, all in revenge for having had a different opinion than you did.

That says quite a lot about you.

i will prove to muslims that you wont laugh a me when i burn in hell because i left islam?

this is a pic of a burn victim and can you ever laugh at that?

i left islam because any god who does that for disbelief yu cant help is barbaric and doesnt deserve to be worshipped (assuming he exists)

can any muslim still say you would laugh at me if an afterlife exists (honestly)

My word, aren’t you transfixed with this afterlife nonsense!

since muslims say i am stupid for leaving islam, does that mean allah is going to torture mentally incompetent?

I have a question about the afterlife in Islam?

I’m not a Muslim, but I hope you will not mind my presence here. Actually, I used to be Catholic, but I’ve left that behind, and I’m currently searching for something to believe in. Right now, I am trying to compare Muslim beliefs about the afterlife to those in other faiths.
If I were to become a Christian, would I be in trouble with Allah? By believing in Christianity, in Jesus Christ, I would be rejecting the belief that the Qur’an is the Word of God, and that Muhammad is the prophet of God. Would that put me in danger of hell?
Likewise, if I were to become a Buddhist, Hindu, Jew, or an atheist, would Allah condemn me to hell?

Also, if there are verses from the Quran to support your answer, would you please cite them?

Er… sorry – but where does this "afterlife" business come from – even Derek Aconda can’t REALLY contact anyone who’s supposed to be there so why do you think any of this lot can ——-

how am going to tell my muslim parents i left islam to become an atheist?

im unsure of god’s existence but am sure theres no such thing as an afterlife

Asslam Walaikum, All I can do is pray for you. If you are too young don’t tell your parents or anybody about your decision. May be this is a passing phase; and Allah(swt) has got a beautiful plan for your salvation and will bring you back into Islam soon Insha Allah. Al Hamdu Lillah Rabbil Aalameen.

What is the Islam perspective on the afterlife?

It is said that those who have done wrong in this life will be punished in their grave with snakes and bugs and etc. According to Islam, after death, a person’s soul passes through a stage called barzakh, where it exists in the grave (even if the person’s body was destroyed, the soul will still rest in the earth near their place of death). The questioning will begin when the funeral is over and the last person of the funeral congregation has stepped 70 steps away from the grave. two angels called Nakir and Munkar prop the deceased soul upright in the grave and ask three questions: "Who is your Lord? Who is your Prophet? What is your religion?". A righteous believer will respond correctly, saying that their Lord is Allah, that Muhammad is their prophet and that their religion is Islam. If the deceased answers correctly, the time spent awaiting the resurrection is pleasant. Those who do not answer as described above are chastised until the day of judgment. Muslims believe that a person will correctly answer the questions not by remembering the answers before death but by their iman and deeds such as prayer and shahadah (the Islamic profession of faith).

Since there is no valid evidence supporting the idea of an afterlife, is it wise to believe in Heaven?

Should Christianity and Islam be held accountable for overstating the possibility that one can live beyond mortality.

Isn’t it true that this an afterlife can only be know as anybody’s guess and that the idea of life after death is nothing better than a 50 / 50 chance?

Makes perfect sense.

Pure logic says that I’ll just decompose like every other living thing on the planet.

Particularly seeing as not a single claim of an afterlife has actually been validated. If it had been, it’d probably be taught as Geography. Here’s Earth. Here’s Heaven. Here’s Hell.

You get the idea.
