Would you rather have nothingness or and afterlife, after death?

Afterlife can include any version or religion for that matter such as nirvana heaven hell an underworld for all spirits whatever as long as you have a spirit, and nothingness is basically you live and die then idk disintigrate in your coffin or whatever, include reasons for your choice.

Both scare me. Non-existence is scary as hell, but so is eternal existence. I used to sit in church and contemplate both, and I could never figure out which one was scarier. I’d always try to wrap my head around existing forever. There would always be another day, and another, and another, and there would never be a last day, a last moment, and that scrambles my brain in a way I can’t describe. But then… not existing at all, just… ceasing to be… that also frightens me beyond words.

Afterlife. I don’t want to not exist. That is my reason.

I would rather have an afterlife as long as it wasn’t eternal.

An afterlife might be desirable, it might not, but that has no bearing on its reality.

If i had to choose I would want reincarnation, but the evidence is not in favor of this theory. So odds are nothingness.

Though I suppose an afterlife would be nice, eternity does get old after a while.
Nonexistance would be nice. No more thinking no more pain and sweet bliss, true rest.

I certainly would not want eternal life, that sounds like torture.

I’d rather have nonexistence. I didn’t exist for 13.7 billion years since the big bang and it didn’t bother me at all.

If I could snap my fingers and live forever, I would. But not the Christianity heaven, that sucks, and nothing that’s spent worshiping any deities, just another life like this one.

Really it is not your choice.

Listen to five men who died and were revived to share their experience…….

    Afterlife seems boring.

I don’t think it matters much what anyone would rather have — either there is nothingness or an afterlife, and wanting it one way or the other won’t change the way it is. However, I strongly believe some aspect of our being lives on after death.

I want to go to Hell.

I was raised Christian and so there is all this talk about how our friends and family will be there to greet us when we get to heaven. Well, I can barely stand those people NOW. Why would I want to spend eternity with them? What kind of a selling point is that?

I can’t imagine Heaven being an unhappy place. Have you ever spent more than an hour around someone who is constantly happy? You want to kill them. Minus points there as well.

According to my religion, all of the homosexuals are going to Hell. Gay guys know how to throw one hell of a party, so count me in. I don’t think I’ll mind the whole "burning" thing since I won’t have any nerve endings anyway.
