Ancient Egyptian and Greek – comparing religious practices in only 1500 words?

Posted on December 2nd, 2009 by admin in egyptian afterlife | 2 Comments »

To me, 1500 words does not seem like a lot to cover this massive topic. There is so much scope to write about, where do you think the best place to focus is?
**I am NOT asking anyone to do my essay for me. I am simply trying to get opinions on what I should narrow the essay down to- eg. Gods, Afterlife, Burial etc.

Well,
Egypt has many dieties(gods) that they worship, but they mainly focus on the afterlife, like preparing their and others lives for the afterlife. they think this life doesnt matter, its just a gateway to the afterlife.
Greek, i dont know so much about, but they worship many gods also, but they focus on worshipping gods more than everything.

I think the religion would be a good place to focus on, they both have many gods and the egypts are very focused on their gods and the afterlife. I don’t think the greeks focus as much on the burial like the egypts did so I would just take the religion as a whole or if you want to narrow it more down, the gods and godesses.
    Good luck!
