G reports that her sister has been diagnosed with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Lupus, Myasthynia Gravis, and Fibromyalgia. Their mother died of Lupus at age 68. Regarding G’s neurological history, she reported being hospitalized with viral meningitis at age 14 years. She wears glasses for reading and distance. During testing, G reported problems with her hearing. She was referred for a hearing screening at Cal Poly’s Student Health Center, which showed a slight hearing loss in her right ear and that her hearing in her left ear is also becoming slightly impaired. She has participated in personal and marriage counseling in the past, but she does not feel it has been helpful.
